How To “Trust” a site with the warning “The site’s security certificate is not trusted!” in Chrome Win 8

Call up the site you want to Trust. When the message “The site’s security certificate is not trusted!” appears, left click on the lock in the address bar for the site you want to allow. In the popup window go to:

Certificate Information -> Details -> Export
Save the certificate with the filename of your choice.

Then hit close.

Open Preferences or select settings under “Customize and control Google Chrome”. In the search bar on the upper left of the settings page type “certi” then open

Manage Certificates -> Authorities

Import the file and check all the boxes when it asks. Click ok and you are done.
